Chelsea have confirmed that club director Marina Granovskaya will leave the club at the end of the summer transfer window, with controlling owner Todd Boehle appointed as interim president and sporting director.

Granovskaya, who rose to prominence as one of football’s most powerful negotiators during the Roman Abramovich era, will remain available to support Buhle throughout the current transfer window.

Buhli will serve as sporting director until the club appoints a full-time replacement.

“We thank Marina for her many years of excellent service to the club and we wish her all the best in her future projects,” Buhli said in a statement.

Chelsea confirmed the departure of chairman Bruce Buck on Monday, with Bohley replacing him in the role. Buck will continue to support the club as a senior advisor.

“I am proud to have helped Chelsea achieve great success on the pitch and make a positive impact in society,” Buck said.

Buhli added: “Bruce has led Chelsea Football Club to the highest levels of international and domestic football, while also developing one of the sport’s most active social responsibility projects.

“We thank Bruce for his service and commitment to the club.”

Notable figures from the Boehly-Clearlake Capital association have all been added to the new Chelsea Board of Directors, as the new era of the West London club continues to grow.

“As custodians of Chelsea FC, we are now beginning to implement our long-term vision and plan for the club, creating a great experience for its passionate and loyal fans, and continuing to challenge for the highest awards in line with Chelsea FC’s dedicated history,” he said. Bohli.

Clerlik bosses and the Chelsea’s controlling owners Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano have also been added to the new Blues’ board.

Los Angeles Dodgers co-owner Mark Walter, Swiss mogul Hansgeorg Weiss, and British businessman Jonathan Goldstein have been officially named to the Chelsea board of directors.

Barbara Charon, president of the music industry, and Torey party fellow and columnist Daniel Finkelstein were also added to the board of directors, along with Clearlake Capital partner James Budd.

“As the new era of Boehly-Clearlake ownership begins, we are excited to build an organization for the championship and grow Chelsea as a global platform,” said Ighbali and Feliciano.

As acting sporting director, Boehly is understood to have been practical in the role already, as he played a key role in the decision to allow Romelu Lukaku to join Inter Milan on loan.

Chelsea decided to allow the Belgium international to leave the club after talks between Boely, coach Thomas Tuchel, Boely and the player.

Boehly and Tuchel wanted to quickly arrange Lukaku’s future so they could focus on strengthening the team this summer.

Chelsea matches: Everton led by Lampard first, then Tottenham

Chelsea kick off the 2022/23 season with a direct trip to Everton led by Frank Lampard Sky Sports Before hosting his London rivals Tottenham in his first home match.

The final a full month before the World Cup break will be outside Newcastle, and they will continue their Boxing Day campaign against newly promoted Bournemouth.

Chelsea travel to Tottenham on February 25 and Arsenal on April 29, with the last five games kicking off including Manchester City away on the penultimate weekend of the season and Newcastle at home on the last day.
