Cruz, looking confused, asked, “What do you mean, Peter? How do you answer that question?”
Then when Overton asked what kind of relationship the former couple still had, Cruz lost his cool, telling the Nine Reporter, ‘You’re crossing the line now. You cross the line knowing you are.

I can’t imagine this guy talking to me that way. I’ll start crying. It’s very scary, someone tweeted.
Another wrote: “He is literally terrifying without even shouting once.”
Although many of the reactions to the clip were negative, the original poster also shared more likable posts about the action star, suggesting that the video wasn’t intended simply as a takedown.
Overton, 56, spoke about the scary interview during his 2020 interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Meet Cute: The couple met while filming Days of Thunder in 1989
Cruz, who met his ex-wife Nicole in 1989 while filming his leading racing movie Days Of Thunder, achieved one of the biggest critical and commercial successes of his career with his new sequel Top Gun: Maverick.
The film earned $156 million in its opening weekend, according to The Hollywood Reportermaking it the biggest opening weekend of Cruz’s career, as well as the biggest Memorial Day weekend opening ever.
The film, which received a new rating of 96 percent from critics surveyed rotten tomatoeswas originally expected to earn about $151 million over the weekend, but saw larger-than-expected ticket sales on Sunday, indicating strong interest.
It grossed $248 million worldwide, which is particularly impressive, as the film will not be released in China or Russia and has yet to be released in South Korea.

“These results are ridiculous, and absolutely fantastic,” said Chris Aronson, president of Paramount Local Distribution. I’m happy for everyone. I’m happy for the company, for Tom, for the filmmakers.
Cruise’s previous box office hits have been Steven Spielberg’s War of the Worlds (2005), which opened with $64 million, and Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which grossed $61 million in its opening weekend in 2018.
This does not mean that the action star is not known for commercial successes.
Instead, many of his most famous films have made huge profits over a longer period, unlike contemporary blockbusters, which tend to score huge opening weekends and then drop quickly.
The sequel, which sees Joseph Kosinski taking over the role of late 1986 director Tony Scott, was originally marketed in 2019 for a summer 2020 release.
Unlike other big-budget films released earlier amid the ongoing pandemic, Paramount’s strategy of delaying Maverick until 2022 appears to have worked.
Unlike many recent Disney and Warner Bros films, the film is not yet available to stream, so viewers will have to purchase a ticket to see it in the theater, which is the most profitable thing for the studio.
